Our Dentists

Dave Mantle BDS Principal Dentist

David qualified from Birmingham University in 1992, and has worked in general practice and hospital surgery departments for a number of years. He has a wide experience in dental procedures having completed two years postgraduate training with world recognized dentist Paul Tipton in Manchester. He is a member of the British Dental Association and the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners at the Royal College of Surgeons. Dr Dave has a particular interest in root canal treatment, which involves the painless management and removal of infection in and around teeth.  Since becoming the practice owner in 2001 he has been the driving force behind Smilecares' philosophy of providing high-tech dentistry in a relaxed and happy environment.  With a weakspot for gadgets 'Dr D' has recently purchased 'videoglasses' for each surgery, which allows patients to watch a dvd of their choice whilst having dental treatment. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive and he is always on the search for more innovative technology to make your dental experience more enjoyable.  Outside the practice David enjoys family life in Chiswick with his wife and two young daughters whilst also competing in Ironman triathlons and marathons. He has recently ran Marathon des Sables, which is dubbed 'the toughest foot race on earth,' for The Shooting Stars Childrens Hospice.

Neale Katz Dentist BDS

Neale qualified from Witswatersrand University in 1986. He has been the longest serving member at Smilecare and works part-time in order to spend more time with his family.  He has a particular interest in restorative and cosmetic dentistry having completed the prestigious Harris Sidelsky course in advanced restorative dentistry, and is also an accredited Invisalign, (invisible braces), practitioner. He has many years experience in providing advanced cosmetic treatments including Zoom tooth whitening and CAD/CAM crown and bridgework. Neale has also been our leading clinician in providing facial aesthetic treatments  in the form of anti-wrinkle injections and dermatological fillers.  At home Neale has a busy family life, supporting his son's interest in rugby. He has recently started playing again himself and now plays for Windsor Veterans which may explain the odd bruise or limp that he may be showing off next time you see him!

Sarovi Davda Dentist BDS MFDS RCS (Eng)

Sarovi qualified from United Medical and Dental Schools, London in 2002. After her vocational training, she went on to become a Senior House Officer in the Maxilofacial Surgery unit at Luton Dunstable Hospital. During her time there she completed her MFDS examinations and won the annual Junior Papers Day, awarded by the Royal College of Surgeons. Since leaving maxilofacial surgery, she has worked in the community dental service, NHS and private general practice. She has spent the last four years practicing in Chiswick, west London and splits her time between general practice, teaching and completing a part-time MSc in Conservative dentistry at The Eastman Dental Institute. She has always had a keen interest in periodontology and, having attended many post graduate courses on the subject, chose a periodontics special module as part of her masters programme.

Our nursing support, Charlotte. Lucy and Sarah

Our nurses have all been with us for a number of years.  Charlotte Lucy and Sarah are qualified nursing staff registered with the General Dental Council, and we are proud to invest in their continuing education as they are an integral part of the clinical team. They are instrumental in ensuring that your experience at Smilecare is one that is comfortable and one that you would happily recommend to your friends. Without their support Smilecare would be the same as every other practice.See Sarah talking about why she enjoys her job

Jan and Rachel, our receptionists

Jan and Rachel are often your first port of call when contacting the practice. They are the ones that keep the practice running seamlessly and are ready to address your dental needs. When Jan's not busy at the practice she is a busy mum looking after her young daughters in Chessington. Rachel is David's long suffering wife, and in her spare time she can be found making lots of noise driving around Chiswick in her 1970 fiat 500. If you see her give her a wave!
